POLICE AUXILIARY OFFICER (CUSTODY SUPPORT OFFICER)
Custody Support Officers play a vital role assisting police with the safe admission, custody and release of detainees at station-based lockups. This is a physical role in a unique and challenging environment where no two days are the same. You can be part of a supportive team culture while helping to protect the community.
Applicants wishing to apply must:
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident.
- Possess a Manual or Automatic Motor Driver’s Licence with no more than 8 demerit points.

If you are successful, you will be appointed to a position in the location to which you have applied, and can look forward to a salary of $74,736 - $80, 567 p.a. (Band 2 – CIV004). Successful applicants are required to complete 8 weeks of training at the Western Australia Police Academy, located in Joondalup, followed by a further 4 weeks on the job training at the Perth Watch House with a training salary of $55, 884 p.a.

* Provisional licences are acceptable, with no more than two demerit points in the first year and five demerit points in the second year, at the application.
